Portal Connecting …

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

Still remember when Jesse was in Beijing few months ago, he liked to shot picture on phone booths. Not just one, but all kinds of them, red, blue, yellow, cozy ones, shaggy ones, classical ones, or even artefact ones. It gave me some perspectives on all those everyday things or items we are so used to them that we don’t notice them any more. I felt it was like a time portal, I mean all those different living phone booths. Some of them may shared so many stories of the caller, sad ones, happy ones, or anything in between, different souls connecting to different dimensioins through our tiny existence.

I am at the Beijing Capital Airport right now, and once again I noticed those phone booths. I was wondering if Jesse has already add many new ones in his “time portal” collection from South East Asia. I am sure he has. And now I am waiting at one end of the tunnel, thinking about what the other side might look like. The waiting, that is what it is … waiting for something that might befall on you in the new pages of your life. totally unexpected, and may bring you to something different than yourself. It’s so exciting, even though I may not know eactly why.

This might be the first post in this session. And I guess it’s very different from what I may have written at home. Now I am getting the idea of Jesse’s bloggin-on-the-fly style, catching ourselves’ minds and memories while far away from home. It does make me feeling belonging to something.
